Advisor 1 Dr. Syarifan Nurjan, MA, Supervisor 2 Dr. Muh Tajab, M.A Keywords: Children's Personality, Parenting Style, Parents with Special Needs The development of a child's personality is strongly influenced by genetic and environmental factors. One environment that is very influential on a child's personality is parents. Parenting patterns applied by parents to children are influenced by many factors, one of which is the physical condition of the parents. Parents who have abnormal physical conditions (with special needs) have different parenting styles than parents with normal physique. This is because parents with special needs have limitations in terms of communication and mobility. This research will examine a child (with the initials R) who has parents with special needs, to be precise, a resident of Kebon Hamlet RT 002 RW 003 Kebon Village, Paron District, Ngawi Regency. Researchers want to examine the personality development of children who are raised by parents with special needs. The aims of this research are 1) Todescribe and analyze parenting by parents with special needs, 2) Analyze the disturbances experienced by children in caring for parents with special needs. This research approach is a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. Research results show that parents with special needs try to meet their needs in every way. The picture that emerges shows that both parents with special needs try to give what their children want. Parenting does not involve violence. R tends to grow up as a closed child and feels inferior because he has parents with special needs. Limited communication between R and his parents caused R to have less space to share and complain so that R was often alone and did not go to school to avoid an uncomfortable atmosphere.
