Abstract

ABSTRACT Rosalia, Elsa, 2023, Implementation of Religious Activities in Improving the Religious Character of Students at SDIT Qurrota Ayun Ponorogo. Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, Supervisor (1) Dr. Anip Dwi Saputra, M.Pd. (II) Sigit Dwi Laksana, M.Pd.I Keywords: Implementation, Religious Activities, Religious Character The process of forming students' religious character is certainly not something that can be achieved easily. In the current era, technological sophistication can influence children's character to be careless in matters of religion. This of course encourages all parties, especially schools, to present religious activities at school as an effort to prevent the erosion of students' personality and religious values. Based on the results of observations obtained at SDIT Qurrota Ayun Ponorogo, religious activities are carried out by carrying out routine habits. In reality, in the field, it was found that some students seemed less enthusiastic in carrying out activities or even playing alone. The objectives of this research are: 1) Knowing the implementation of religious activities in improving students' religious character. 2) Knowing the benefits of religious activities on students' religious character, 3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in efforts to form religious character through religious activities. The type of research used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques use interview, observation and documentation methods. Then, data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that: 1) SDIT Qurrata Ayyun Ponorogo innovates by presenting several innovations as follows: a) prayer every morning, b) recitations every morning, c) congregation praying first, d) congregational prayer, e) love of prayer, f) Al-Quran and recitations, g) Morning advice, h) Odin sharing, i) Ramadhan hut. 2) Religious activities carried out at SDIT Qurrata Ayyun Ponorogo have benefits in increasing the religious character of students. Even though the habits you make are only small, basic things, they will have a big impact in the future. 3) The factors that support religious activities are support from all parties, both internal and external to the school. School internal parties include all parties in the school including supporting facilities in it. While the external factors referred to include support from parents, the community and related agencies. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include: a) The dynamic that students are being carried away by the current of modernization, b) Lack of attention from students' parents, c) Lack of consistency of school management in implementing the program, d) Differences in the character of each student.   ABSTRAK Rosalia, Elsa, 2023, Implementasi Kegiatan Keagamaan Dalam Meningkatkan Karakter Religius Peserta Didik di SDIT Qurrota Ayun Ponorogo. (II) Sigit Dwi Laksana, M.Pd.I Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Kegiatan Keagamaan, Karakter Religius Proses pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik tentunya bukanlah hal yang dapat dicapai dengan mudah. Pada era sekarang, kecanggihan teknologi dapat mempengaruhi karakter anak untuk lalai dalam hal beragama. Hal ini tentunya mendorong semua pihak terutama sekolah untuk menghadirkan kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah sebagai usaha untuk mencegah lunturnya nilai kepribadian dan keagamaan peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang diperoleh di SDIT Qurrota Ayun Ponorogo dilakukan kegiatan keagamaan dengan melakukan pembiasaan-pembiasaan secara rutin. Dalam kenyataanya di lapangan ditemukan adanya beberapa peserta didik terlihat kurang antusias dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan atau bahkan sambil bermain sendiri. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui implementasi kegiatan keagamaan dalam meningkatkan karakter religius peserta didik. 2) Mengetahui manfaat kegiatan keagamaan terhadap karakter religius peserta didik, 3) Mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat upaya pembentukan karakter religius melalui kegiatan keagamaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) SDIT Qurrata ayyun Ponorogo berinovasi dengan menghadirkan beberapa inovasi sebagai berikut: a) doa setiap pagi, b) tilawah setiap pagi, c) jamaah sholat dluha, d) sholat berjamaah, e) cinta sholat, f) al-Quran dan tilawah, g) Nasihat pagi, h) Odin berbagi, i) Pondok ramadhan. 2) Kegiatan keagamaan yang dilaksanakan di SDIT Qurrata ayyun Ponorogo memliki manfaat terhadap meningkatnya karakter religius peserta didik. Meskipun pembiasaan yang dilakukan hanyalah hal-hal kecil yang sifatnya dasar, namun akan berdampak sesuatu yang besar di masa yang akan datang. 3) Adapun faktor yang menjadi pendukung kegiatan keagamaan yaitu dukungan dari segala pihak baik itu internal maupun eksternal sekolah. Pihak internal sekolah meliputi seluruh pihak yang ada di sekolah termasuk fasilitas penunjang di dalamnya. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang dimaksud meliputi dukungan dari orang tua, masyarakat dan dinas terkait. Sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya yaitu: a) Adanya dinamika bahwa peserta didik terbawa arus modernisasi, b) Kurang adanya perhatian dari orang tua peserta didik, c) Kurangnya konsistensi manajemen sekolah dalam menjalankan program, d) Perbedaan karakter masing-masing peserta didik.
