Abstract

Fadila Anasthalia. Persepsi Guru Tentang Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Thesis. Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Advisor 1 Ida Yeni Rahmawati, M.Pd., Advisor 2 Nurtina Irsad Rusdiani, M.Pd. This study aims to: (1) describe teachers' perceptions about the implementation of an independent curriculum in early childhood education and (2) describe the constraints and challenges faced by teachers regarding the implementation of an independent curriculum in early childhood education. This research is a type of qualitative research. This research was taken at 3 early childhood education schools in Ponorogo. The data sources from this study were 3 school principals and 4 class teachers. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study related to teacher perceptions about implementing the independent curriculum in Early Childhood Education, namely that teachers understand enough. In addition, lesson plans are made simpler and freer, learning media can use media from nature and be adapted to themes, project-based learning models and problem-based learning (PBL), there is a strengthening of the Pancasila student profile, learning is done in a differentiated manner and gives freedom to students. Constraints and challenges for teachers, namely teacher literacy is still lacking, understanding parents of students, student interaction is still passive, teachers are not proficient in using digital technology, facilities and infrastructure are still incomplete. The solution is for teachers to study again by looking for references, socializing with parents of students, freeing students, teachers can take part in training and complete facilities and infrastructure through procurement and government assistance.
