Abstract
This study aims to find out how speech disorders occur in children aged 4-6 years and to find out how teachers make efforts to overcome dysarthria speech disorders in children aged 4-6 years at RA 'Aisyiyah Ronowijayan, RA 'Aisyiyah Beton I and RA 'Aisyiyah Brahu Siman Ponorogo. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with research informants being children and teachers at RA 'Aisyiyah Ronowijayan, RA 'Aisyiyah Beton I and RA 'Aisyiyah Brahu Siman Ponorogo. Data obtained from the three schools showed that there were 7 children who experienced dysarthria speech disorders. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the instruments used for data collection were observation sheets for teachers, children and interview sheets for school principals, teachers and parents in this research. The data collection method uses the observation method and the listening method. The data analysis technique uses documentation analysis. The results of the research show that in the three schools mentioned above, there is dysarthria speech disorder in children aged 4-6 years, that is, there are 7 children who cannot pronounce the phonemes (sounds) of letters imperfectly. At RA 'Aisyiyah Ronowijayan there are 2 children who experience dysarthria disorders, namely Ananda HFZ and FHR who pronounce the phoneme "R" to "RL", at RA' Aisyiyah Beton I there are 4 children who experience dysarthria disorders, namely Ananda ABD and YSF who pronounce the phoneme " R" becomes "RH", AVN parents who pronounce the phoneme "R" become "RL" and MSL parents who pronounce the phoneme "S" become "TS". Furthermore, at RA 'Aisyiyah Brahu there was 1 child who had dysarthria, namely Ananda PTR who pronounced the phonen "R" as "Y". So the dysarthria speech disorder experienced by 5 children, namely children YSF, ABD, AVN, MSL and PTR was caused by physiological factors which were influenced by disorders of the hearing, disorders of the brain and disorders of the mouth area. Meanwhile, the two children, namely HFZ and FHR, experienced speech disorders, dysarthria caused by health factors or hereditary factors which were influenced by oral disorders, delays in speaking and hearing as well as genes that could be passed on to their children. The more dominant phoneme (sound) is the "R" phoneme which is pronounced as RL, the "R" phoneme becomes "RH", the "R" phoneme becomes "Y" and the "S" phoneme becomes "TS". Based on the three schools, the effort to overcome dysarthria is to develop language through storytelling, question and answer methods, repeating words and getting used to pronouncing words or sentences correctly both at school and at home and with patience. Apart from that, consult dysarthria speech disorders with health authorities, namely pediatricians, to stimulate the child's language.
