Abstract

Tsamrotul Fikriyyah 21340255 - The Effectiveness of Quranic Reading and Writing Learning for Early Childhood at TK PAS Baitul Qur'an Gontor. Bachelor's Thesis in Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Supervisor 1: Dr. Syarifan Nurjan, MA, Supervisor 2: Nurtina Irsad Rusdiani, S.Pd, M. Pd. This research aims to investigate the process of Quranic reading and writing learning at TK PAS Baitul Qur'an Gontor Ponorogo and to identify the teaching methods used by the instructors. Additionally, it seeks to determine the effectiveness of Quranic reading and writing learning at the school. This study is a descriptivequalitative research, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique involves the interactive data analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The activities in data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The research findings show that the process of Quranic reading and writing learning for early childhood at TK PAS Baitul Qur'an Gontor adopts a classical method, where teachers plan the lessons according to predetermined materials and media aligned with the learning objectives. Furthermore, teachers assess the children's development through communication books accessible to parents. The effectiveness of Quranic reading and writing learning for early childhood at TK PAS Baitul Qur'an Gontor uses indicators of effective learning. This means that in terms of the learning process, teachers, students, method, and materials, everything is tailored to the children's abilities. Observations, Tahsin teacher assessments, and children's evaluations demonstrate the maturity of both teachers and TK students in the stimulation of Quranic reading and writing learning.
