Abstract

The car is a means of transportation that is quite widely owned by the community, because it can carry many passengers and can protect from the hot sun and also avoid rain. Choosing a used car from various brands and price ranges requires careful and precise selection, especially for consumers who are buying a car for the first time. Therefore the authors need a system or application that can assist customers in determining the decision to buy a used vehicle. This used car selection decision support system is made web-based to assist buyers in monitoring and obtaining data related to the dynamic framework in buying used cars. This decision support system is based on SAW, this system generates information on the choice of vehicle type to determine the best option based on ranking results. With this system, consumers can enter their own weight values for each criterion based on the level of importance according to consumers, so consumers can choose what interests are prioritized to buy a car. The results shod e new Avanza car in 2015 as the best choice.
