Abstract
Mellyna Dwi Novita Sari, 2023. Implementation of the Sima'I and Takrir Learning Methods in Improving the Quality of Student Memorization at the Azmania Ronowijayan Islamic Boarding School, Ponorogo. Thesis. Undergraduate Program (S-1). Department of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo. Supervisor: (I) Dr. Nuraini, M. Pd. I (II) Azid Syukroni, M. Pd. I. Keywords: Sima'I Method, Takrir Method, Improving Quality. The purpose of this research is to determine the basis or reasons for choosing the sima'I and tikrar methods in improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. Knowing the implementation of the sima'I and tikrar methods in improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. Knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for implementing the sima'I and tikrar methods in improving the quality of memorizing the Al-Qur'an at the Azmania Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. This research is research with a qualitative approach because it includes field research, then to collect data and information obtained through the Azmania Ronowijayan Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School in the form of observations at the Azmania Ronowijayan Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School, interviews with boarding school leaders, tahfidz coordinators, tahfidz musrifahs and female students and documentation taken according to the activities of the santriwati tahfidzul Qur'an activities. Researchers used a qualitative approach in extracting data, namely observation, interviews and documentation methods. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the sima'I and takrir learning methods in improving the quality of student memorization at the Azmania Islamic Boarding School includes: Planning, which is carried out before starting to memorize the Qur'an at the Azmania Islamic Boarding School, is to group the students into several groups and schedule for halaqoh tahfidz hours. Implementation, the Al-Qur'an learning period at halaqoh lasts for 60 minutes consisting of initial activities (Opening), core activities (Learning period to memorize the Al-Qur'an) and final activities (Closing). Meanwhile, there are two murojaah in Azmania, namely individual murojaah and murojaah which is done jointly. There are six evaluations at Azmania: daily evaluation, weekly evaluation, monthly evaluation, semester evaluation, annual evaluation and colossal evaluation. Supporting factors include: student factors, educational factors, and facilities and infrastructure factors. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include: student factors and teacher or educator factors.
