One of the impacts of incomplete discharge planning will cause patients to be non-compliant with control. Patient compliance for control is an agreement made between health workers and patients related to agreements to visit health services again. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of nurse discharge planning and the level of compliance with control first in hospitalized patients at "Darmayu" Ponorogo Hospital. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all inpatients in Flamboyant Room 2 during January - June 2023 totaling 1,094 with a monthly average of 182 patients, sampling using total sampling of 64 patients. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using chi square. Based on the results of the study, it was found that most (73.4%) or as many as 47 respondents did discharge planning in the appropriate category and a small proportion (26.6%) or 17 respondents small (26.6%) or 17 respondents did not do discharge planning in the not appropriate. While in compliance, it was found that most (76.6%) or as many as 49 respondents complied with control and a small portion (23.4%) or 15 respondents did not comply with control. not compliant control. The results of the chi-square statistical test chi-square statistical test results obtained p-value = 0.041 (a <0.05) which means that there is a relationship between the implementation of discharge planning nurses with the level of compliance with the first control on inpatients at "Darmayu" Ponorogo Hospital.
