Abstract
ABSTRACT THE RELATION OF TIME RESPONSE WITH PATIENT’S SATISFICATION IN EMERGENCY DEPATMENT AT DARMAYU HOSPITAL PONOROGO Respon time is indicated as one indicator in the quality assessment of hospitals / health centers in the form of customer satisfaction. Patient satisfaction will be realized with services in the emergency room if patient expectations are met, such as fast, responsive, polite, friendly service, optimal service, good interaction and the comfort of the room and building itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between patient satisfaction level and response time in the emergency room of Darmayu Ponorogo Hospital. The research design used was correlative analytic, with a cross-sectional approach. The population of some patients in the emergency room at Darmayu Hospital Ponorogo is 40 people. The sampling technique uses Quota Sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires and observation sheets directly in the emergency room in November 2023 and then analyzed statistically using chi square. From the research results of 40 respondents, 22 people (55%) said that the service response time was in the fast category, 18 people (45%) said it was in the slow category. Meanwhile, 40 correspondents stated that 9 people (22.5%) were in the high level of satisfaction with the service category, 18 people (45%) were in the medium level of satisfaction category and 13 people (32.5%) were in the low level of satisfaction category. The results of the correlation test using che square with a p value of 0.332 > 0.05, which means that there is no relationship between service response time and patient satisfaction levels in the emergency room at Darmayu Hospital, Ponorogo. It is hoped that appropriate and fast response time in the ER will increase patient satisfaction, but patient satisfaction does not only depend on response time, but hospital infrastructure and services also determine patient satisfaction.
