Abstract

Analysis of the Implementation of Cultural Literacy and Citizenship in the Independent Curriculum in Junior High Schools and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ponorogo Regency. Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program. Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Supervisor I Ambiro Puji Asmaroini S.Pd., M.Pd. Supervisor II Dr. Sutrisno, S.Pd., M.Pd. This research aims: 1) to find out how to strengthen cultural and civic literacy of students in SMP and Mts Ponorogo Regency, 2) to find out how to strengthen cultural and civic literacy skills in the independent curriculum in SMP and MTs Ponorogo Regency. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation, then the data is processed using data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that 1) Strengthening the Implementation of Cultural Literacy and Citizenship in Ponorogo Regency Middle Schools and MTs can be carried out through 4 activities, including through school literacy activities, where each school carries out routine activities every morning by reading, Through cultural performance activities, Mandatory students to take part in extracurricular activities, through scout activities. 2) The cultural literacy and citizenship skills program in the independent curriculum in Ponorogo Regency Middle Schools and MTs can be carried out on a class basis, a school culture basis, and a community basis.
