Abstract
ABSTRACT Siti Hamida Nopitasari. Strengthening Citizen Involvement by the Bringinan Village Government in the Management of Village-Owned Enterprises. Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Supervisor I Dr. Sutrisno, S.Pd, M.Pd, Supervisor II Dr. Sulton, M.Sc. Strengthening citizen involvement is important to support every development program, especially in the management of BUMDes. This research aims to: 1) Find out the strengthening strategy carried out by the Village Head regarding the involvement of Bringinan Village residents in the management of BUMDes. 2) Knowing the practice of involving Bringinan Village residents in the management of Bringinan Village Owned Enterprises. This research uses a mixed type of research with concurrent embedded methods. Qualitative data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation and quantitative data collection in the form of questionnaires. The informants are the Village Head, Village Secretary, Chairman of BUMDes, Village Treasurer and Bringinan Village Community. Meanwhile, the technical data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) The Village Head's strategy in providing reinforcement is carried out at the planning and organizing stage in the form of a) conditioning residents through deliberation between the Village Government and residents. b) Verbal and written reinforcement contained in a written or unwritten policy. c) The Village Head's openness in accepting criticism, suggestions, ideas and aspirations from the residents and supported by the Village Head's closeness to the residents. d). Recruitment activities for BUMDes administrators as well as capital investment in the form of investing in shares for the residents of Bringinan Village. e). Then motivate by providing training programs and interacting with residents with various activities, business unit activities, BUMDes employee recruitment and BUMDes management. 2) The practice of citizen involvement in the management of BUMDes can be found in 2 forms of involvement, namely a) Political involvement in the form of consensus deliberation activities, discussion forums and meetings which are held consistently at each stage of management starting from planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. 2). Social involvement takes the form of material donations in the form of money, donations of thoughts and energy in the form of mutual cooperation activities which can be seen at the planning, organizing and implementation stages in the form of mutual cooperation and skills by participating in the training program.
