Abstract

Awwalu Risma Royani. Implementation of the 5 Teaching Campus Program in Strengthening Positive Character in Ponorogo Regency. Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Supervisor I Dr. Sutrisno, S.Pd. M.Pd. Supervisor II Drs. Sunarto M.Sc. Implementation of campus teaching programs by students can contribute to strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in schools targeted by 3T. This research aims to: 1) Find out strategies for strengthening positive character by Teaching Campus 5 students, 2) Find out the impact of the Teaching Campus 5 Program in strengthening positive character. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Qualitative data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The informants were students and civil service teachers at the target school for the 5th generation teaching campus. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) The campus teaching program strategy for strengthening positive character is by conducting observations, designing work programs, carrying out activities through habits that instill positive character in students, such as praying Duha and students contributing to become teacher partners. With this strategy, it can be used as a reference and point of reference for students in strengthening positive character, then for teachers it can be used as input for controlling activities that support positive character so that the goals of these activities can be achieved optimally. 2) The impact of the teaching campus program 5 in strengthening positive character, namely that students are more enthusiastic and active in activities, students are more able to make habits, the teaching campus program increases students' love of reading and creativity through the application of literacy and numeracy; d) help students feel how important and valuable their contribution to society is, thereby building a sense of social responsibility and concern for others; e) students are motivated to learn because the program instills the character of discipline, hard work and curiosity. Thus, there needs to be a long- term continuation of the teaching campus work program by the target schools that are partners of the teaching campus. 5. Students are expected to continue to contribute to the development of positive character, so that this program can run sustainably and have a positive impact.
