Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled Ponorogo Police Satsabhara Communication Strategy in Prevention of Banking Cyber ​​Crime in Ponorogo. The aim of this research is to know the Ponorogo Police Satsabhara Communication strategy in prevention cyber crime and the forms of cyber crime that occur. Method in this research using qualitative descriptive methods, namely research that describes the situation or event. The sampling technique used in this research is Purposive Sampling. This technique is used to determine the sample based The criteria are those who serve in the Satsabhara work unit at Ponorogo Police. Technique Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Results research shows that the forms of cyber crime are phishing, carding, and OTP. The Ponorogo Police Satsabhara communication strategy has done its job maximally good in preventing cyber crime through 4 stages of control social. Love, commitment, involvement/participation, and trust. Of course This communication delivery strategy is carried out dialogically. But there is Some of the obstacles experienced are the lack of understanding of the general public especially related to technology and information.
