Abstract

ABSTRAK Buku bacaan anak usia dini tentang kearifan lokal Ponorogo masih kurang keberadaannya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan sebuah media buku cerita bergambar untuk anak usia dini (4 - 6 tahun) yang dapat mengenalkan kearifan lokal Ponorogo yaitu tradisi Methik Padi. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk: 1)mendeskripsikan pengembangan produk buku cerita “Jurnali Cilik Methik Padi”, 2)mendeskripsikan hasil validasi produk buku cerita “Jurnali Cilik Methik Padi”, dan 3)mendeskripsikan hasil efektivitas buku cerita “Jurnali Cilik Methik Padi”. Tindakan validasi buku dilakukan untuk memenuhi kriteria yang sesuai dengan komponen media dan materi aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Uji coba efektivitas sederhana dilakukan dengan metode observasi dengan menarik kesimpulan dari lembar observasi serta didukung dokumentasi berupa foto dan video. Hasil penilitian ini adalah: 1)terciptanya buku “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” yang menambah wawasan anak tentang kearifan lokal Ponorogo yaitu tradisi Methik Padi, 2)buku “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” yang valid untuk digunakan anak usia dini secara luas, dan 3)buku “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” yang efektif sebagai media belajar anak tentang kearifan lokal Ponorogo yaitu Methik Padi. Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Buku cerita bergambar, Kearifan lokal ABSTRACT Early childhood reading books about Ponorogo's local wisdom are still lacking. Therefore, researchers developed a picture story book media for early childhood (4 - 6 years) which can introduce local wisdom of Ponorogo, namely the Methik Padi tradition. The purpose of the research are: 1)describe the development of the story book product “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi”, 2)describe the results of validation of the story book product "Jurnali Cilik Methik Padi", and 3)describe the results of the effectiveness of the story book "Jurnali Cilik Methik Padi" . Book validation measures are carried out to meet the criteria in accordance with media components and material aspects of early childhood development. Simple effectiveness trials were carried out using the observation method by drawing conclusions from observation sheets and supported by documentation in the form of photos and videos. The results of this research are: 1)the creation of a book “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” which broadens children's insight into local wisdom of Ponorogo, namely the Methik Padi tradition, 2)the book “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” is valid for widespread use by early childhood children, 3)The book “Jurnalis Cilik Methik Padi” is effective as a medium for children to learn about Ponorogo's local wisdom, namely Methik Padi.
