Abstract

ABSTRAK Ratna Indrawati, Upaya Guru Menanaman Nilai Kedisiplinan di Kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Tahun 2023/2024. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Pembimbing 1 Hadi Cahyono, M.Pd., Pembimbing 2 Nurtina Irsad Rusdiani, M.Pd. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah permasalahan umum yang terjadi pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Kurangnya pemahaman dan kesadaran akan kedisiplinan. Banyaknya orang yang salah mengartikan aturan bukan untuk ditaati tetapi justru dilanggar. Sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki tujuan dan tugas sebagai pembentuk karakter dengan menanamkan nilai pada siswa. Salah satu nilai yang harus diimplementasikan adalah nilai disiplin.Guru mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam mengembangkan nilai ketika masuk di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan di kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Tahun 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan subjek penelitian adalah Kepala TK Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo, guru kelompok B, Peserta Didik TK Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo dan Walimurid TK Dhama Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verification/conclusi drawing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan di kelompok B TK Dhama Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo cukup baik terbukti dengan adanya kesepakatan guru dan anak membuat peraturan sendiri dalam kelompok. TK Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo menerapkan disiplin demokratis untuk menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan. Guru dalam menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan menggunakan metode: keteladanan, pembiasaan dan hadiah/reward, pendekatan individual. Faktor pendukung guru adalah peran orang tua, usia anak, dan peraturan. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat guru adalah guru itu yang kurang konsisten dalam menanamkan nilai kedsiplinan dan perbedaan karakter anak. Kata Kunci : Upaya guru, nilai disiplin. The background of this research is common problems that occur in everyday life. Lack of understanding and awareness of discipline. Many people misinterpret rules not to be obeyed but instead to be violated. An educational institution that has the aim and task of forming character by instilling values in students. One of the values that must be implemented is the value of discipline. Teachers have a very important role in developing values when entering the school environment. This research aims to describe how the implementation of instilling discipline values in group B of Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten in 2023/2024. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were the Head of the Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten, group B teachers, the students of the Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten and the Guardians of the Dhama Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten. The data collection technique used is by using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques use data reduction steps, data presentation as well as drawing conclusions and verification/conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that discipline in group B of Dhama Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten is quite good as evidenced by the agreement between teachers and children to make their own rules within the group. Dharma Wanita Sedayu Slogohimo Kindergarten applies democratic discipline to instill the value of discipline. Teachers in instilling the value of discipline use methods: example, habituation and rewards, individual approach. Supporting factors for teachers are the role of parents, child's age, and regulations. Meanwhile, the factor that hinders teachers is that teachers are less consistent in instilling the values of discipline and differences in children's characters.
