Abstract
LITERATURE STUDY: NURSING CARE FOR ELDERLY WITH NURSING PROBLEMS OF SOCIAL INTERACTION DISORDERS (Case Study at UPT. Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Magetan) By: Mila Mey Linda NIM. 21613466 Social Interaction Disorder is a decrease in a person's level of interaction and social relationships in an environment or group. Social interaction disorders are a psychosocial problem that requires special treatment in the form of motivation and social skills training in the elderly with a reduced level of interaction. This research was conducted with the aim of providing nursing care to elderly people with nursing problems of social interaction disorders at UPT. PSTW Magetan uses a nursing process approach, namely conducting assessments, establishing nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, implementing and evaluating the actions that have been taken. Based on the results of the case study research, data was obtained that the client named Mr. S, the client feels uncomfortable with the social situation around him because of the trauma of being hit by a friend which caused the client to not want to socialize with groups and not take part in activities. So based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that Mr. S experiences Social Interaction Disorders caused by environmental irregularity or chaos. The nursing actions provided are social skills behavior modification and social skills training in stages using social skills training through 4 stages over 7 days. Evaluation of the results of the action for 7 days was that the patient experienced an increase in interest in other people, was responsive to other people, felt comfortable with social situations quite increased and was interested in making emotional contact with other people. This nursing care is expected to be able to reduce the nursing problem of social interaction disorders, especially in the elderly by carrying out social skills behavior modification actions and training social skills in stages using social skills training.
