Abstract

ABSTRACT SCIENTIFIC WRITING: MENTAL NURSING CARE FOR SCHIZOPHRENIA PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS RISK OF VIOLENT BEHAVIOR By: Meila Carmeilla NIM: 21613452 The risk of violent behavior is uncontrollable or uncontrollable anger verbally or physically, which if not handled immediately and properly can cause injury to oneself or others, and damage to the environment. This case study aims to carry out death care for schizophrenia patients with death problems at risk of violent behavior, as well as being a source of information in the preparation of subsequent scientific papers. Nursing care for schizophrenia patients with nursing problems at risk of violent behavior is carried out in the Abimanyu room at RSJD Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta. The research was conducted for 3 days using the nursing process method. The results of the assessment showed that the client was at risk of violent behavior. After implementing nursing using the implementation strategy method for 3x24 hours, the results showed that the client was able to carry out SP 1 to SP 4, namely that the client could control anger by breathing deeply, the client could control anger verbally, the client could control anger assertively, and the client could control anger spiritually. The author carried out an evaluation according to the client's situation. The author believes that the problem of risk of violent behavior in Mr. M partially resolved. This is proven by the client being able to mention the four implementation strategies, but the client still feels disappointed with his family and the client's eye contact is still sharp. Clients with problems at risk of violent behavior need good therapeutic communication. The role of the virgin when in the hospital and the role of the family at home are very important for the client's healing process.
