Abstract

ABSTRACT NURSING CARE FOR DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS WITH UNSTABLE BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS (Case study in the Mawar Room at Dr. Harjono Ponorogo Hospital, Th. 2024) By : Susy Wahyu Ginanda NIM 21613477 The behavior of individuals and/or caregivers does not follow the care/treatment plan agreed with health workers, resulting in ineffective care/treatment results. Nursing care for diabetes mellitus patients with unstable blood glucose levels is carried out in the Mawar Room at Dr. RSUD. Harjono Ponorogo for 3 days in May 2024. The aim of this case study is to provide nursing care to diabetes mellitus patients with nursing problems of unstable blood glucose levels. Nursing care for diabetes mellitus patients with unstable blood glucose levels is carried out in the Mawar Room at Dr. RSUD. Harjono Ponorogo for 3 days in May 2024. The method used was the nursing process. The results of the study showed that Mrs. K has been suffering from diabetes mellitus for 5 years. To Mrs. K found data that the client experienced instability in blood glucose levels. Nursing actions given for the nursing problem of unstable blood glucose levels in Mrs. K is by providing hyperglycemia management that has been adapted to SIKI The results of the evaluation of nursing actions obtained from Mrs. K with unstable blood glucose levels by managing hyperglycemia so that the problem is resolved because the patient's condition has begun to improve. It is recommended for patients to be able to adjust their diet according to the diet they are following, routinely comply with the treatment program they are undergoing, and provide health education.
