Abstract
Schizophrenia is a disease that attacks the brain and can cause strange behavior, thoughts, perceptions, emotions and behavior that cannot be controlled. Social isolation is behavior when someone refuses or cannot communicate at all with the people around them. Clients may feel rejected or unaccepted, lonely, and unable to build meaningful relationships with other people. This case study aims to provide mental nursing care for schizophrenia patients with social isolation nursing problems. Mrs. F experiences social isolation nursing problems because from the results of data analysis it is known that the client prefers to be alone, the client feels different from his younger sibling who is loved by his mother, while he is often made fun of by his mother. So mental nursing care was carried out for 5 days in the Larasati room at RSJD Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta. The method for preparing this scientific work uses a case study design, namely a ( problem solving ) method using a nursing process approach. The results of the assessment showed that the client had shizophrenia with social isolation nursing problems, characterized by the client appearing withdrawn, refusing to interact with other people, flat affect, the client was alone and daydreaming. The act of murder was given for the problem of maintaining social isolation in Mrs. F is doing SP 1, recognizing the causes of social isolation, introducing the advantages or disadvantages of interacting and not interacting with other people, motivating to increase involvement in relationships, training to get to know each other, SP 2 teaches clients to get to know the first person, SP 3 gets to know the second person. And there were problem with SP 1 which was carried out until SP 1 meeting 4 because the client was uncooperative and difficult to get to know other people. Psychiatric nursing care for schizophrenic patients with social isolation nursing problems requires good interaction. Keyword : Schizophrenia, Social Isolation, Problem Solving, SP, Nursing Care.
