Abstract
One of the management in order to prevent the occurrence of baby blues in postpartum mothers is using health education for pregnant women. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of health education interventions on pregnant women's knowledge in efforts to prevent baby blues in Ngrayun village, Ngrayun health center working area. By using the quasi-experiment method of one group pre-test post-test. In this study, 71 respondents were pregnant women in Ngrayun Village, Ngrayun Health Center Working Area. Using the purposive sampling technique, and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with Asymp.sig >0.05. The results of the study before the respondents were given health education interventions as many as 42 respondents (59.2%) had a sufficient level of knowledge, and as many as 29 respondents (40.8%) had a low level of knowledge, while the results of the research after the health education intervention as many as 51 respondents (71.8%) had a good level of knowledge, and as many as 20 respondents (28.2%) had a sufficient level of knowledge. The results of the statistical test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and α = 0.05 obtained the result of P-Value = 0.000 (P < 0.05). This means that H0 is rejected, which means that health education is effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in an effort to prevent baby blues in Ngrayun Village, the Ngrayun Health Center Working Area. The conclusion of this study is that the effectiveness of health education on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in an effort to prevent baby blues in Ngrayun Village, the working area of the Ngrayun Health Center using the audio�visual method, is effectively used
