Abstract

Hanif Ikhsani, Bullying and its prevention through Islamic educational values according to Zakiah Daradjat. Ponorogo: Postgraduate Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, 2021. Keywords: Bullying, Islamic Education values. Adolescence is the best time to maximize yourself to explore all your potential along with moral and mental skills, for a bright and glorious future. However, to this day there are still adolescent problems that continue to emerge and degrade their morals and mentality, namely bullying. The purpose of this study is to reveal more deeply the basic things that cause someone to be encouraged to do bullying, the factors that causebehavior bullying and its prevention through the values of Islamic education by exploring the thoughts of a character, namely Zakiah Dardjat. This research is astudy library research using anapproach interpretative analysis, the data collection technique used is literature observation, and the collected data is analyzed usingtechniques content analysis. The results of this study include; First, bullying is a situation where individuals and groups commit violence both verbally (sedition, slander, cursing, intimidating, degrading self-esteem) or physically (injuring) with the aim of seeking satisfaction. Second, the factors that influence someone to do bullying are caused by; a). lack of fulfillment of individual basic needs, among others; religious needs, the need for affection, the need for security, and the need to be appreciated. b) family conditions that are not conducive, and the lack of family in conducting guidance in their spare time. c) the state of society that does not prioritize moral standards and religious values in carrying out interactions in social life. d) the influence of the media, namely television broadcast programs and social media that do not educate and degrade morale. Third, prevention that can be done to avoid bullying is to internalize Islamic values into individuals through several parties, including; Family by the way; instilling religious teachings, fostering a spirit of piety and morals, instilling love, providing a sense of security, making children feel valued and guiding them in their spare time, and exercising courage. Meanwhile, schools should ensure the values of Islamic education do not stop at understanding the concept of Islam as an insight, but move on to training and habituation to their students. Meanwhile, the community is responsible for forming a positive peer group for children up to their teens. Finally, the role of the government should be to tighten supervision, limit, and provide sanctions for shows presented by television media or the like that will have a negative impact on teenagers.
