Abstract

MEGA INDAH YULIANTI: Characters Education Video Learning. HKI. Ponorogo: Mathematics Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, 2021. This HKI is done to protect and respect the video, preventing it from being taken by third parties. The COVID-19 pandemic has added a new dimension to education. The reason for this is that the education is required in all circumstances to continue the learning process, even if it must be done online. This has a significant impact on the development of children's characters. Prior to the pandemic, characters education for children was delivered through school regulations classes as well as direct samples from teachers. During the pandemic, some children spent their time playing and watching YouTube. The author has created a video to demonstrate examples of everyday behavior related to children's character, such as discipline, courtesy, and responsibility. The author creates and processes images created by online applications that are relevant and appropriate for the target audience/children’s age. With this video, the hope is that children will be able to sort and choose which behaviors lead to the positive characters. This video is attractively packaged, does not appear monotonous, and includes dialogue text. The animation in this video has been adapted to children's ages 7-12, with the hope that at this age, children will be able to apply the character traits of discipline, responsibility, and courtesy.
