Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengoptimalisasi pembelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang kubus dan balok dengan memanfaatkan alat peraga. Pemanfaatan media untuk mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran matematika sangat diperlukan apalagi pada siswa SD. Selama ini, di SD Terpadu Ainul Ulum belum memanfaatkan alat peraga ketika proses pembelajaran matematika. Untuk itu, penulis membuat alat peraga kubus dan balok yang berbahan bambu untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan siswa SD Terpadu Ainul Ulum kelas V. Dengan pemanfaatan alat peraga ini, siswa lebih tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran dan mudah dalam memahami materi bangun ruang. Materi yang dipelajari lebih terikat pada ingatan siswa. Siswa juga mampu menentukan letak unsur-unsur bangun ruang pada alat peraga. Kegiatan pengabdian di SD Terpadu Ainul Ulum ini dilakukan dalam program kampus mengajar angkatan 1. Abstract The purpose of this activities to optimize mathematics learning in of cube and cuboid materials by utilizing props. The use of props to optimize the mathematics learning process is very necessary, especially for elementary school students. So far, at SDT Ainul Ulum have not to use props in mathematics learning process. Therefore, the author make the cube and cuboid props made of bamboo to optimize mathematics learning. The participants of this service are grade V students of SDT Ainul Ulum. With the use of props, student are moreinterested in participating in learningprocessandeasier to understand the material of solid figure. The material being studied is more tied to the students memory. Student are able to determine the location of the elements of solid figure on the props. These community services activites are carrried out in the form of Kampus Mengajar program.
