Abstract
Schizophrenia is a person who experiences disorders of emotional, thought, and behavioral processes with several clinical manifestations, one of which is social isolation. Social isolation is a condition in which an individual experiences withdrawal behavior, as well as a decrease in being unable to interact with other people at all. The purpose of this study was to determine the nursing care of schizophrenic with social isolation nursing problems carried out in the sena ward of the RSJD dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta for 3 days using the nursing process method. The results of the study found that the client experienced social isolation. After implementing nursing using the implementation strategy method, the results obtained that the client was able to do SP 1 to SP 4, namely the client could state the causes, advantages of interacting and the disadvantages of not interacting with other people, the client could get acquainted with, other clients, and with twonurses or more people. group. The author's evaluation is based on the client's condition, the author believes that the social isolation of Mr. I partially resolved. Evidenced by there is a decrease in signs and symptoms in the client. Clients with social isolation need good therapeutic communication. The role of nurses is needed in comprehensive nursing care to get optimal results. Support and the role of the family are also very important in the healing process of schizophrenic.
