Abstract
Mango fruit is a fruit that has benefits that are useful for the human body, the benefits contained in mangoes are vitamins such as vitamins A, B_1, B_2, and vitamin C. Climate change has a major impact on the agricultural sector such as agriculture on mangoes, mangoes experienced a decrease in productivity due to climate change caused by high rainfall which made the fruit damaged due to pests from fruit caterpillars, and in addition to the process of harvesting mangoes using traditional tools. Based on these problems, in this study, a design for picking, weighing and detecting caterpillar pests on mangoes will automatically be based on Arduino. The tool uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller, with the input of the tool using an ultrasonic sensor which is useful for detecting caterpillar pests in mangoes with the use of ultrasonic waves, after the detection process is complete, the fruit that is detected is not caterpillar it will automatically cut the fruit stalk using the existing knife. servo motor drive, the fruit that has been picked will be weighed automatically in the fruit basket, after the weighing process is complete the fruit weight results will be displayed on the LCD screen with a unit weight of kilograms, when the fruit is detected there is a caterpillar pest the tool will not pick fruit which contains the caterpillar.
