Abstract
ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF MOTIVATION WITH COMMUNITY COMPLIANCE IN IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH PROTOCOLS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC In the village of Kedung Jati RT 07 and 08, Kec. Balerejo, Kab. Madiun By Nofita Lailatul Mukaromah novithalaila@gmail.com The government is still enforcing the policy of implementing the COVID-19 health protocol in the new normal period to face new adaptations towards a productive and safe society, in this policy the community remains obedient in implementing health protocols because it has become a habit. High community motivation and compliance plays an important role in preventing the COVID-19 virus. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between motivation and community compliance with the implementation of health protokols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods. This research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The population in this research is people aged 17-50 years in Kedung Jati Village RT 07 and 08, Balerejo District, Madiun Regency as many as 177 people. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 55 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had high motivation, namely 29 respondents (52.7%), and most of the respondents were obedient in implementing health protokols, namely 32 respondents (58.2%). The results of the Chi Square test show that the p-value = 0.007 with a cofficient correlation of 0.354 so that there is a relationship between motivation and community compliance in implementing health protokols during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kedung Jati Village, RT 07 and 08, Balerejo District, Madiun Regency. Conclusion There is a relationship between motivation and community compliance in implementation of health protokols during the COVID-19 pandemic. The higher the motivation, the higher the community's compliance in implementing health protokols. Keywords: Motivation, Compliance, Health Protokol, COVID-19
