Abstract
Tri Nuryani, Arik. (2022) Strategi Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun. Skripsi Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Pembimbing (1) Nurul Abidin.M.Ed dan Pembimbing (II) Ayok Ariyanto M.Pd.I. Kata Kunci : Strategi, Kepala sekolah, kinerja guru Peran kepala sekolah sangat mempengaruhi kinerja guru, agar guru fokus, bekerja dengan profesional, dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Kepala sekolah perlu memiliki stategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. Karena masih banyak kepala sekolah yang belum menerapkan langkah-langkah atau strategi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, serta evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun?, (2) Bagaimana implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun?, (3) Bagaimana evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun? Peneliti ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya penyajian data menggunakan metode deskriptif yang diamati yaitu, Kepala sekolah dan Guru, penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun. Hasil penelitian di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun di antaranya sebagai berikut: 1) Strategi Kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru sesuai dengan pedoman pelaksanaan program sekolah, kepala sekolah melakukan supervisi guru terlebih dahulu sehingga dapat menentukan strategi berupa program apa yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru. 2) Dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru kepala sekolah mempunyai strategi yakni membuat program khusus yakni IHT (in house training), kepala sekolah membentuk tim PKG (penilai kinerja guru) dan Tim PKB (Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan). 3. Evaluasi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Madiun dalam satu semester di lakukan minimal 2 kali pertemuan, yakni di awal semester, dan di akhir semester. Keywords: Strategy, Principal, teacher performance The role of the principal greatly affects the performance of teachers, so that teachers focus, work professionally, in carrying out their duties. Principals need to have strategies to improve teacher performance. Because there are still many principals who have not implemented steps or strategies in improving teacher performance. This study aims to determine the principal's program in improving teacher performance, implementation of the principal's program in an effort to improve teacher performance, and evaluation of the principal's program in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun City. The formulation of the problem in this research are (1) How is the principal's program in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun?, (2) How is the implementation of the principal program in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun?, (3) How is evaluation of the principal's program in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun City? This researcher uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation, then the data presentation uses descriptive methods in the form of words, writing or verbally from the observed subjects, namely, the principal and teachers, the research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun City. . The results of the research at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun City include the following: 1) Principal's Program in an effort to improve teacher performance in accordance with school program implementation guidelines, principals supervise teachers first so they can determine what programs are appropriate to improve teacher performance. 2) In an effort to improve teacher performance, principals make a special program, namely IHT (in house training), principals form PKG (teacher performance assessors) and PKB Team (continuous professional assessment). 3. Evaluation of principals in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Madiun City in one semester is carried out at least 2 times, namely at the beginning of the semester and at the end of the semester
