Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of financial performance on stock prices of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index in 2014-2021. The company's financial performance is analyzed through ratio analysis consisting of the projected liquidity ratio with the Current Ratio (CR), the projected profitability ratio with Return On Assets (ROA), the projected solvency ratio with the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and the market ratio projected with Earning Per Share (EPS). The sample selection method in this study was to use a purposive sampling method. Based on predetermined criteria, a sample of 8 companies was obtained with a total of 64 observations. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis. The data analysis technique in this study was using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The test results on the first hypothesis show that the Current Ratio (X1) partially has no effect on stock prices, meaning that the high or low CR values have no effect on stock prices and CR is not the main consideration for investors in investing. The results of the second hypothesis test show that Return On Assets (X2) partially has no effect on stock prices, meaning that the high or low value of ROA has no effect on stock prices and ROA is not the main consideration of investors in investing. The results of the third hypothesis test show that the Debt To Equity Ratio (X3) partially has no effect on stock prices, meaning that the high or low value of DER has no effect on stock prices and DER is not the main consideration for investors in investing. The results of the fourth hypothesis test show that Earning Per Share (X4) partially affects stock prices, meaning that the higher the EPS value, the higher the stock price. Simultaneous test results show that the variables Current Ratio, Return On Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Earning Per Share affect stock prices in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index, meaning that all variables Current Ratio, Return On Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio , and Earning Per Share if it has the same movement up or down it will get an increase or decrease in the stock price. The test results for the coefficient of determination R square (R2) show a value of 0.65 or 65%. That is, the variables Current Ratio, Return On Assets, Debt To Equity Ratio, and Earning Per Share affect stock prices by 65% while 35% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Stock Price, Current Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning Per Share (EPS)
