Abstract
‘Umul Fitri, Implementation of the Hubbul Ilmi Program to stimulate the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung. Thesis. Education Teacher Study Program, Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo. Supervisor 1 Ida Yeni Rahmawati, M.Pd., Supervisor 2 Nurtina Irsad Rusdiani, M.Pd.
Language is an ability that functions as a means of communication with other people. Language skills in early childhood include the ability to listen, listen, read and write. Children's reading abilities must be developed from an early age, because at an early age children's development influences how teachers develop children's reading abilities. By choosing the right method, it is hoped that it can help children's reading abilities. Moreover, in the current era, many parents feel anxious when their children cannot read so that their children will have difficulty being accepted into an elementary school (SD). Apart from that, when children cannot read, parents are afraid that their children will become the object of ridicule because they cannot read.
This research aims to: 1) find out how the hubbul ilmi program is planned at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung, 2) find out how the hubbul ilmi program is implemented at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung, 3) find out the challenges and obstacles in the hubbul program science at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung.
The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method and was carried out at Qriya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung. The data sources in this research were heads of institutions, teachers/clerics and children aged 5-6 years at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman where this model has four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions.
The research results show that the Hubbul Ilmi program is able to stimulate children's reading abilities. It was seen during the researcher's observations at Griya Qur'an Al-Inayah Pulung, children were able to understand the relationship between sounds and letter shapes, recognize the initial sounds of the names of objects, write and pronounce the letters a-z. The learning stages in the Hubbul Ilmi program are divided into three, namely reading syllables, game creation sheets (sticking, drawing, coloring), and filling in empty boxes. The obstacle in the Hubbul Ilmi program itself is that not everyone can use this program even though they know how to use it. Special training needs to be held for a teacher who will use this program.
