Abstract

The implementation of multiple intelligences in Islamic religious education learning that is applied at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Sukomoro has in practice implemented four of the nine multiple intelligences covering verbal-linguistic, musical, logical-mathematical and intrapersonal intelligence. Seeing the practice that occurs in the field for researchers is interesting to be rationalized scientifically. This study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of multiple intelligences in learning Islamic religious education at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Sukomoro. (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of multiple intelligences in learning Islamic religious education at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Sukomoro. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods to collect data using interview, documentation, and observation techniques. This research uses triangulation data analysis.
The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of multiple intelligences in learning Islamic religious education that has been applied at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Sukomoro is good enough to make students skilled in language (verbal-linguistics), logical (logical-mathematical), playing inonation/ tone (musical) and behavior of reprimand, greeting, greeting and discipline (intrapersonal). (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of multiple intelligences in Islamic religious education learning applied at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Sukomoro, the supporting factor is that the majority of students have four intelligences including verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical and intrapersonal intelligence so that they can be skilled in language, logic, playing intonation/tone, admonishing behavior, greetings and greetings and discipline, all of which have been reflected in the school environment. And the inhibiting factor is that some students tend to only have intrapersonal and logical-mathematical intelligence so that the effectiveness of learning verbal-linguistic intelligence and musical intelligence has not run optimally.
