Abstract

ABSTRACT
To address the health sector's community priorities, the government has implemented a range of policies and support systems aimed at assisting economically disadvantaged populations. Health Social Assistance serves as an effective mechanism for facilitating access to medical cost support. In this context, the Pacitan Regency Government, through its Social Service, has launched the SEDANTEN program, which integrates the Health Social Assistance List with the JKN system. However, the program's execution on the ground has not been optimal, resulting in inadequate access to these services for the impoverished residents of Wonokarto Village. This shortfall can be attributed to various factors, including disparities in human resources within the village, apprehensions regarding the accessibility of assistance and information, and insufficient support. To enhance the effectiveness of the SEDANTEN program in Wonokarto Village, several initiatives have been undertaken, focusing on maximizing the involvement of community workers and village officials in promoting the program. This includes delivering information during community meetings, collaborating with residents at the RT level, distributing pamphlets to inform residents, and having volunteers provide guidance during community gatherings. Additionally, assistance is offered to low-income individuals throughout the SEDANTEN program management process until its completion. With these proposed solutions, the SEDANTEN program can be effectively implemented, yielding significant benefits for the residents of Wonokarto Village, particularly for those who have not yet enrolled in JKN. This includes individuals receiving government contribution assistance, independent participants, and wage-earning workers whose membership has lapsed due to the conclusion of their employment contracts. Consequently, these citizens will be empowered to meet their health needs in alignment with the government's established program.
