This thesis discusses how the strategy of BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo in building customer trust (Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Strategy in Building Customer Trust (Case Study at BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo). This thesis is composed by raising a problem, namely: What strategies are used by BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo in building customer trust. Strategy is a plan that is systematically designed to achieve certain goals. The strategy includes the necessary steps, to achieve the desired results both in the context of companies and Islamic financial institutions such as BMT. BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo's strategy related to customer trust is one of the main factors which in providing additional profit in a company. So in order to support this, a strategy related to good customer trust is needed to support the products and services offered by BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo so that many customers are interested in it.
Based on the problems that have been described, the researcher formulates two main questions that will be the focus of the research. The formulation of the problems in this study are as follows: 1.) What strategies does BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo use in building customer trust? 2.) How is the impact of implementing strategies in building customer trust at BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo?
This research is a case study that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative methods. Data was collected through observation interviews and documentation. This research involved BMT Insan Mandiri managers and employees, as well as several BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo customers as informants. Triangulation analysis was used to analyze the data collected from interviews.
Positive customer behavior within BMT Insan Mandiri Ponorogo significantly influences financial stability, reputation, operational success, and financial adaptation. Service strategies of integrity and professionalism, openness in product marketing, and the development of simple and transparent systems, along with the impact of implementing strategies such as customer engagement, and continuous innovation, contribute significantly to increased loyalty, financial stability, positive reputation, and community empowerment for long term BMT success.
