Abstract

E-SURPRAIS is an application designed to facilitate heritage recording in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City. This application functions as a communication tool between sub-districts and sub-districts, facilitating the process of submitting and verifying heritage files. The E-SURPRAIS application in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City, is a strategic step in improving the quality of technology-based public services.
This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the E-SURPRAIS application to improve service quality and identify inhibiting and supporting factors for its implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data was obtained through documentation, observation and interviews. The results show that the E-SURPRAIS application simplifies the recording process where service officers record and document information related to heirs in a more structured and easily accessible way. E-SURPRAIS is also more efficient and accurate because with an automatic
system, this application can minimize recording errors that could occur if done manually. The security and privacy of data about heirs stored in the application can also be protected with high security, thereby reducing the risk of leakage or loss of important data. In addition, the accessibility of the E-SURPRAIS application allows access to inheritance information anytime and anywhere, as long as there is an internet connection, making it easier for service officers to record heirs. However, its implementation faces obstacles such as a lack of understanding of Inheritance Law, societal obstacles in adapting technology, lack of trust in technology and instability of the internet network.
With continuous efforts, including strengthening technological infrastructure through improving the quality of the internet network and data integration with the Legal and Government Systems, increasing socialization regarding understanding of Inheritance Law, and increasing HR training for service personnel, the E-SURPRAIS Application is able to improve the quality of public services in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City.
