Abstract

Every woman wants a smooth delivery, but sometimes there are problems
that cause a cesarean section. Surgery usually causes anxiety. One way to reduce
anxiety is by dhikr, because dhikr provides benefits and reduces fear and anxiety.
The purpose of this study was to reduce anxiety by dhikr, which makes the heart
calm and reduces anxiety after surgery.
The design of this study is a case study with a qualitative approach. This
study was conducted on August 31, 2024 - September 05, 2024 in the Siti Walidah
Room, Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Hospital. The respondent was Mrs. R with a
cesarean section who experienced anxiety nursing problems and the intervention
carried out was the application of dhikr therapy to reduce anxiety. The instrument
uses Standard Operating Procedures and observation sheets.
The results of Mrs. R's study showed that the patient was confused about the
planned operation she would undergo, she was worried about the consequences
that would be caused by her surgery. The intervention used dhikr therapy to
reduce anxiety. The results of the implementation showed that after five
consecutive days of implementation, the client's anxiety nursing problems were
resolved by administering dhikr therapy. The researcher concluded that the
surgical action plan was resolved related to anxiety nursing problems based on
objective and subjective data from Mrs. R. It is hoped that this case study will
provide an overview and be a reference for the implementation of dhikr therapy to
overcome anxiety..
