Application of Deep Breathing in Nursing Problems of Ineffective Breathing Patterns in Congestive Heart Failure Patients in the Krisna Room of Dr. Sayidiman Hospital, Magetan

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a condition where the heart fails to pump blood throughout the body so that it cannot provide a supply of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Heart failure patients are one of the patients with high service needs and in conditions of unstable hemodynamic status, one of which is breathing pattern. Several treatments that can be used to treat dyspnea in patients with congestive heart failure, one of which is deep breathing relaxation. Deep breathing relaxation can train the diaphragm muscles which are used to compensate for lack of oxygen and increase respiratory efficiency so as to reduce shortness of breath. This Final Scientific Work by Nurses aims to analyze the application of deep breathing in CHF patients with nursing problems with ineffective breathing patterns in the Krisna Room at RSUD dr. Sayidiman Magetan.
The application of this Ners' Final Scientific Work was carried out on the patient Mrs. S for 6 days by applying deep breathing therapy 3 times a day with a duration of 45 minutes.
Results of the Application of the Final Scientific Work of Nurses carried out on patients Mrs. During these 6 days, it was found that the ineffective breathing pattern was resolved, marked by a decrease in Mrs. Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation. S is within normal limits, namely respiration 22x/minute and SPO2 99% without breathing aids.
The conclusion of this Final Scientific Work by Nurses is that there is the effectiveness of applying deep breathing to CHF patients with nursing problems with ineffective breathing patterns in the Krisna Room at RSUD dr. Sayidiman Magetan.
