This study aims to analyze the event management of the Ponorogo Literacy Festival in promoting literacy in Ponorogo Regency. The festival is a literacy promotion initiative organized by Terrabook Store in collaboration with Media Literasi Ponorogo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Goldblatt’s event management theory, which includes five stages: research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation. The findings reveal that the Ponorogo Literacy Festival was conducted systematically across all five stages. The event successfully attracted public interest through its inclusive concept and diverse activities such as book bazaars, literacy discussions, creative competitions, and collaborations with national and international authors. The success of the festival demonstrates that well-structured event management can serve as an effective strategy to promote a culture of literacy at the local level.
