Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan syarat-syarat yang menjamin eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap dari Teorema Ciric dalam konteks ruang b- metrik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan menganalisis konsep- konsep fundamental seperti ruang metrik dan ruang b-metrik, barisan konvergen, barisan Cauchy, kelengkapan ruang dan merujuk pada penelitian utama "On a theorem of Ciric in b-metric spaces". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap untuk pemetaan � pada ruang b-metrik lengkap (�, �) dijamin jika kondisi kontraksi Ciric yang telah digeneralisasi terpenuhi untuk suatu konstanta � yang memenuhi 0 < � < 1/k , di mana � ≥ 1.
