Abstract

Health is a state of physical, mental, and social well-being that enables individuals to live
productively both socially and economically. According to the WHO's Ottawa Charter, health is a
resource for everyday life, not merely a goal, and includes physical capabilities as well as social and
personal resources. This study addresses the manual queuing system in the pharmacy department of
Manguharjo Lung Hospital, Madiun, which causes uncertainty for patients waiting for medication.
To resolve this issue, a web-based queuing system was developed to provide queue number
notifications via smartphone, using the FCFS (First Come First Served) principle. This system is
designed with programming languages suitable for the pharmacy's queue model, aiming to ensure
more efficient, timely, and friendly healthcare service. The WHO defines health as physical, mental,
and social well-being, not just the absence of disease. Healthcare services aim to improve the quality of life for all citizens, and the developed information system aims to ensure that patients are correctly
positioned in the queue, meeting the public's expectations for simple, easy, fast, and reliable
healthcare services, thus positively impacting the overall quality of healthcare delivery.
