This research aims to (1) determine the implementation of the quantum teaching learning model in the Fiqh subject in the eighth grade at MTs Darul Fattah, (2) identify the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the quantum teaching learning model in the Fiqh subject in the eighth grade at MTs Darul Fattah Terpatih Galak Salhung.
This type of research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The research was conducted in the eighth-grade class of MTs Darul Fattah Terpatih Galak Slahung with data collection procedures through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. In this research, the primary data sources are the school principal, the Islamic jurisprudence subject teacher, and the eighth-grade students of MTs Darul Fattah Terpatih Galak Slahung. Secondary data sources come from indirect data obtained in the field, such as archives, documentation, and various books related to the research issues. The data analysis techniques in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested using source and technique triangulation.
Based on the research results obtained, it shows that: (1). The implementation of a quantum teaching-based learning model in Fiqh subjects for class VIII students at Mts Darul Fattah is carried out through the TANDUR (Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, Celebrate) stages. Teachers strive to create a fun learning environment, actively involve students, and relate material to students' real lives. The implementation of this learning model includes three stages, namely the first begins with the preparation stage, including preparing the learning foundation, preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and arranging the classroom environment so that it is conducive. The second stage is the learning implementation stage which includes initial activities (introduction), core activities, and final activities (closing). Next, the third stage is the evaluation stage, which includes an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses during the learning process. (2). The advantage of implementing this learning model is that it can raise students' enthusiasm for learning, make learning more interesting, increase student involvement, make it easier to understand concepts, and build a fun, active learning atmosphere. The disadvantage is that it requires a lot of time to prepare, teachers must be smart in dividing their time so that learning is completed on time according to the specified time, teachers must be creative and have really thorough preparation before learning.
