The background of this study is the challenge of conventional Fiqh learning, which tends to be monotonous and less active, so that it has the potential to reduce student interest and achievement. The use of digital media, such as learning videos and interactive applications, is expected to be an innovative solution to improve students' understanding, participation, and learning motivation.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, focusing on understanding the phenomenon in depth from the perspective of the participants. The subjects of the study were grade 4 students of MSU Nashrus Sunnah, Fiqh teachers, and the principal. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification.
The research of the discussion show that the implementation of digital media at MSU Nashrus Sunnah significantly improved students' understanding of the material, participation, and motivation in Fiqh learning. Learning videos successfully concretize the abstract concept of worship, while interactive applications make learning more fun and encourage student involvement. This increase in motivation and understanding is positively correlated with increased student academic achievement. However, this implementation also faces inhibiting factors such as limited access to technology and internet connections at students' homes, lack of technology skills among some students and teachers, and resistance to change. Nevertheless, schools and teachers have shown adaptive efforts by providing facilities, training, and materials that can be accessed offline.
