PENERAPAN TERAPI AUDIO MUROTAL PADA PASIEN AKUT MIOKARD INFARK (AMI) DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN ANSIETAS DI ICU RUMAH SAKIT AMAL SEHAT WONOGIRI

Al-Quran murottal therapy is a religious therapy in which verses of the Qur'an are recited to a person for several minutes or hours, performed routinely every day. This case study aims to provide nursing care to patients with AMI (Acute Myocardial Infarction) with anxiety nursing problems at Amal Sehat Wonogiri Hospital.
The method used is a nursing process approach that includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Nursing care for Mr. S, 62 years old with a medical diagnosis of AMI (Acute Myocardial Infarction) with anxiety nursing problems was carried out for 5 days, with audio therapy of Al-Quran recitation for 15-20 minutes which was given routinely every day on October 7-31, 2025.
The assessment results showed that the patient experienced anxiety caused by the fear of death. The nursing action implemented to overcome this anxiety was the application of Al-Qur'an recitation therapy of Surah Ar Rahman. The evaluation results showed a gradual decrease in anxiety levels. On the first and second day of the evaluation, the patient's anxiety level was in the severe category with HARS scores of 33 and 30, respectively. On the third day of the evaluation, the anxiety level decreased to moderate anxiety with a HARS score of 25, then on the fourth day the anxiety level decreased to mild anxiety with a HARS score of 20, then on the fifth day it became no anxiety with a HARS score of 14. On the first and second days the patient showed worry, restlessness, inability to focus, confusion and appeared tense, accompanied by physical symptoms such as rapid breathing and increased pulse. On the third and fourth days, sleep quality improved, concentration was good, although sometimes still a little worried because he was still a little short of breath. On the fifth day, Mr. S appeared calmer, more relaxed, had good concentration, and slept well for 6-7 hours.
Al Quran murottal audio therapy can be made into an SOP that can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy that is effective and easy to apply, especially for AMI patients who experience anxiety disorders who require psychological treatment in the ICU of Amal Sehat Hospital, Wonogiri.
