Abstract
The Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) Mitra Usaha Sejahtera still uses a manual method in the credit application analysis process, which has the potential to cause subjectivity and errors in decision making. This study aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system by implementing the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) algorithm as a tool to determine the feasibility of customer credit applications. The SMART method is used to evaluate several predetermined criteria, including salary, monthly installments, collateral estimation, loan amount, collateral ownership, and age, with weighting according to their level of importance. The system development was carried out using the PHP programming language and MySQL database with the Waterfall system development method. The results of this study indicate that the developed decision support system is able to generate feasibility scores and rankings of prospective customers objectively, quickly, and systematically. With this system, the credit application decision-making process at KSP Mitra Usaha Sejahtera becomes more effective and can minimize errors caused by the subjectivity of analysts.
