This study aims to determine the influence and effectiveness of Islamic character building through the Islamic Study Circle (LSI) program on employee performance at Amal Sehat Hospital, Wonogiri.
This study is quantitative. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to 186 employees of Amal Sehat Hospital, Wonogiri. Data analysis techniques in this study used the T-test and the coefficient of determination R2.
The results of the study show that: (1) The instillation of Islamic character through the LSI program has a large influence or contribution to employee performance, namely 70.3% (R-Square = 0.703), while the remaining 29.7% is influenced by other variables outside the focus of this study. (2) LSI activities have proven to be very effective in providing Islamic character development for employees. This effectiveness is shown by the existence of a significant influence based on the results of the hypothesis test with a significance value of 0.000 (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The Islamic character formed through LSI has proven to be valid and strong in influencing the improvement of employee performance in the Wonogiri Amal Sehat Hospital environment.
