MANAJEMEN STRATEGI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PELAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN DARUL ILMI MAN 2 PONOROGO

In today's digital era, some schools still rely on manual systems for their services. The limitations of manual systems regarding information retrieval, data access, and data management pose significant obstacles to improving library service quality. Schools or *madrasahs* that continue to use manual library systems amidst the rise of digital libraries demonstrate a gap between current practices and the demands of modern technological advancement. This study aims to examine the management strategies, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors involved in enhancing library services at the Darul Ilmi Library of MAN 2 Ponorogo. A qualitative approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the management strategies implemented at the Darul Ilmi Library of MAN 2 Ponorogo to improve service quality. The findings indicate that the Darul Ilmi Library employs several management strategies. First, it plans for technology-based service development. Second, it upgrades facilities and infrastructure. Third, it optimizes human resources. Finally, it conducts periodic service evaluations. Supporting factors influencing the library's management strategy include institutional policy support, adequate technological facilities, librarian competence, and high user enthusiasm. However, certain inhibiting factors also require attention, such as budget constraints for facility development, technical issues with digital systems, and the need for greater adaptability to technological advancements. The study utilizes SWOT analysis, examining the library's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
