This study aimed to develop the interactive pop-up storybook Petualangan Nino dan Nila di Bendungan Dawuhan as a learning medium for early childhood education, to describe the feasibility of the product based on material and media expert validation, and to describe the implementation of a limited trial with early childhood participants.
This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation) model. The development process consisted of three stages: planning, production, and evaluation. The research subjects included one material expert, one media expert, and five early childhood participants involved in a limited trial. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, product demonstrations, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the feasibility of the product based on the validation results and the implementation of the limited trial.
The results showed that the interactive pop-up storybook Petualangan Nino dan Nila di Bendungan Dawuhan was considered feasible for use as a learning medium based on the validation results of the material and media experts. The limited trial involving five children also showed that the product could be used in early childhood learning activities as an interactive and engaging literacy medium.
