Abstract

Mathematical modeling is an important part of problem solving skill. Mathematical modeling can
be taught and learnt. Mathematical modeling is a domain in Indonesian school mathematics
curriculum. Mathematical modeling competencies are the essential part of mathematic learning.
But mathematic literacy is essentially the ability to have a good mathematical modeling
competency. In this paper, we studied about mathematical modelling through literature study.
