Abstract
Establishing relationships and communication is one of the mandatory activities and the main needs of every human being. Social media facilitates humans to more easily establish relationships and share information. This convenience has influenced society in democracy, and people are increasingly free to express their opinions. For example, on December 6, 2022, the House of Representatives passed the RKUHP, which was considered by the public to still contain controversial articles. Many people expressed their opinions through social media Twitter. With this Social Media Network Analysis (SMNA) research method, it has succeeded in identifying the communication network formed in the RKUHP and KUHP conversations on Twitter. Where many actors from various circles have voiced their opinions, ranging from ordinary people to the media press, activists and government opposition. People gather to interact with each other, share information and messages to achieve common goals. Where the opinions they expressed at that time were mostly negative sentiments with a ratio of 47.8%, Positive 23.7% and Neutral 28.5%.¬ The use of hashtags was also massively used such as #semuabisakena, #tolakrkuhp, #sahkuhp and #kuhpbuatanindonesia.
