FACTORS AFFECTING THE WELFARE OF VANAME SHRIMP FARMERS
IN HADIWARNO VILLAGE, NGADIROJO DISTRICT, PACITAN DISTRICT

This study aims to determine the effect of vaname shrimp prices, productivity levels, and income levels on the welfare of vannamei shrimp pond farmers in Hadiwarno Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. The data used in this study is primary data derived from interviews and questionnaires distributed to Vanname Shrimp pond farmers in Hadiwarno Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all Vanname Shrimp pond farmers in Hadiwarno Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency. The method of processing and data analysis used in this study is the method of multiple linear regression analysis, the analysis test uses the t test and F test. The results of this study can be concluded that price has a negative and insignificant effect on farmers' welfare, the level of productivity has a positive and significant effect on farmers' welfare , the level of income has a positive and significant effect on the welfare of farmers. Variable vannamei shrimp prices, productivity, income together have a simultaneous influence on the welfare of vannamei shrimp farmers. the coefficient of determination is 95.1% and the remaining 4.9% is explained by other variables not included in this research model. Vaname shrimp productivity is an important factor in influencing the welfare of farmers so that more attention is paid to vannamei shrimp care.
