This study aims to analyze the factors that motivate someone to become a dangdut vocalist in Ponorogo. This research uses quantitative methods. Data were collected using a questionnaire technique, the respondents in this study were 100 people who work as dangdut vocalists in Ponorogo. Hypotheses are formulated and tested using multiple linear analysis. The results showed that: 1) Based on partial testing or t-test, it was found that interest, trend and culture factors influenced a person's motivation to become a dangdut vocalist in Ponorogo. 2) Based on simultaneous testing or f-test, it was found that interest, trend and culture simultaneously influences significantly the motivation to become a dangdut vocalist in Ponorogo.
