NURSING CARE OF CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE PATIENTS WITH NAUSEA NURSING PROBLEMS

Chronic kidney failure is a clinical condition characterized by failure of kidney function to maintain fluid and electrolyte metabolism due to structural destruction of the kidney which is characterized by a buildup of urea in the blood. This case study aims to carry out nursing care for chronic kidney failure patients with nausea problems in the Mawar Room of Dr. Harjono Ponorogo General Hospital held for 4 days in May 2023. The method used in preparing this scientific paper is a case study with the nursing process starting from assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
The results of the study found that patients complained of nausea and no appetite, and weakness. Nursing actions taken to address Nausea's nursing problems are nausea management. After nursing for 4 days, the level of nausea decreased. The evaluation results showed that the Nausea disorder associated with uremia syndrome was resolved. This nursing care is expected to be able to provide motivation and knowledge in reducing Nausea in patients with chronic kidney failure.
